About Josefina

Since moving to the USA from Venezuela, I have worked for over 12 years as a nanny and as a companion to the elderly as a Certified Nursing Assistant. My work with the elderly has featured working in 2 different retirement homes with patients that have Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I am very comfortable working with both the elderly and with children. I love to getting to know people, spending time with them and making them feel happy and cared for. Cooking is the hobby that makes my heart smile widest and my specialty is Italian. I raised two beautiful women (they are now 18 and 27) as a single mother. I know the importance of being able to maintain a sense of calm and organization in the household in order to be able to enjoy the joys of family. This is why I see my role as one of a collaborator with the family where I am ready and willing to help around the house with anything that will help (organizing, laundry, some cleaning, etc).
