I started working with kids when I was 18.

In my spare time, I like to work in my garden.

One thing you should know about me is I am very reliable!

My skills include knowledge and experience to care for the needs of children; especially newborns and infants. Second is to help and encourage healthy eating. And third is to activities such as special events at libraries to going to the park regularly.

Josefina cared for my two children for six months and during this time, she consistently demonstrated her dedication, responsibility, and affectionate care for our children. Josefina is a true professional and brings many years of experience to her day to day tasks. She creates a warm, calm, nurturing, fun environment for my children to learn and grow. She always arrives on time, and would give me notice if she was running even just 10 minutes late due to traffic. She helped with light household duties, such as meal preparation and tidying the kitchen and play areas, which was a tremendous help to our family. , I wholeheartedly recommend Josefina for any nanny position. She was such a gift to my family and I'm sure she will be for yours!

Josefine has been taking care of my 10 month old since we was 5 months old. I couldn't imagine a better person to look after her and our baby loves her.  She has been amazing for our family -- getting the baby on a regular sleep schedule, taking her to the playground and on walks, and other age appropriate activities. My older daughter is 3 years old and loves her as well. We are moving out of the area, and hoping to help Josefina find another wonderful family. I couldn't recommend her more!

I have known Josefina for about 12 years. She is a family friend and we have known each other for that long. She is a wonderful mother and caregiver. She is an organized,  attentive and loving mom. You couldn't find a better person to take care of your children. She'll do a wonderful job and treat your child as if it was her own.

I enthusiastically recommend Josefina as a childcare provider for your child.  Josefina provided quality childcare for our now 18 month old son, from the age of 12 weeks until now and for our now 3.5 month old son, almost immediately after he was born until the present.  Because we are moving out of state, the boys will no longer be cared for by her.
Josefina provides daycare in a welcoming, warm home environment.  We are impressed with the one-on-one attention and contact that our boys receive on a daily basis.  L. loves to go to "Miss Fina's" house every morning.  We love the comfort of knowing that the boys are in a setting as familiar and loving as their own home.
Josefina does a wonderful job of keeping us up to date on everything that happens each day, good and bad.  She lets us know whenever Luke does something new such as trying a new food or learning to play with a new toy or saying a new word, as well as making us aware of any diaper rashes or other concerns she may have.
Josefina read at least one book to L. everyday and we noticed that he had an increased knowledge of identifying objects and comprehension of what we were saying to him because of this.  L. and R. are often outside playing at the park with Josefina near her house when I pick them up at the end of the day.    L. has increased his cognitive ability to understand the world around him and has increased his motor abilities through interactive play and games.
We are grateful for how accommodating Josefina is to our needs.  I feel no apprehension in asking questions of her, and she understands our situations and works with us the best that she can no questions asked.  Josefina was more than willing to step in as our nanny three days a week immediately after R. was born.  In addition to the items listed above, Josefina would take the boys for a long walk through our neighborhood every day and also did some light housekeeping such as emptying the dishwasher and doing laundry.  This was a huge help to me as I felt a little overwhelmed at first having two children under the age of 18 months at home.  It allowed me time to run errands or just get some rest!     
With Josefina, I feel like the kids are getting much better care than they would at a daycare or with a babysitter.  By finding Josefina, we found more than a place to leave our children while we work; we found an extension of our home.  We highly recommend Josefina as a childcare provider.  Our experience has been wonderful and she will be greatly missed.
