Joy helped our family when our sweet 92-year-old mom was suddenly hospitalized and had colon cancer surgery. She was at the hospital literally every day for two months to make sure mom got the care she needed and communicate with the doctors and nurses-since their communication with our family was spotty-and inform us of what was happening. All of Joy's attention was focused on my mom. She bathed and toileted her, changed her edema stockings and put lotion on her legs, brushed her hair, helped with her meals, and so much more than I can list here. When she saw that mom was developing a fungal infection, Joy insisted that the nurses provide the extra treatment she needed. She was unfailingly upbeat, kind and gentle with mom, yet firm with the other caregivers. And, she put her heart fully into making sure that mom was safe and felt secure. Joy truly is an angel and we know that she was the reason that mom recovered so well. Anyone lucky enough to hire Joy will be as blessed as we were.
