About Jordyn

As a nurturing individual with over six years of experience in childcare, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My journey into caregiving was inspired by my positive experiences as a summer camp counselor where I spent 4 summers caring for children 50 hours per week for 10 weeks. I am currently a pre-school teacher at my local church. My patient, calm, and friendly nature allows me to build strong relationships with children, while my creativity and imagination ensure that playtime is both enjoyable and educational. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I'm skilled at playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games and puzzles, and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate educational elements into playtime. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's day, using their preferred method of communication.
