About Jordyn

I'd describe my personality as fun loving, responsible, and caring. I like working with kids because I get to watch them grow and learn. I love to make a positive impact on their lives. I want to role model by showing kindness, compassion, and respect. I want to encourage their creativity by doing things hands on like painting or reading. I'm looking for a job that will be full time and help support by future employment opportunities. I started working with kids when my niece came to live with my family when derecho impacted their lives. I watched her for a year until they moved out. My niece has high functioning autism so it was challenging at times, but very rewarding watching her grow. In my spare time, I like to read and have a cup of coffee. My skills include cooking and baking, entertaining without use of electronics, and patience.
