Hi!! My name is Jordyn! I currently work for Helper's Inc. providing in-home services, transportation, and community outings, for a man with special needs and his family for the past 6 years. Before Helper's, I was a behavioral technician and a psychosocial rehabilitation provider while studying psychology with an emphasis in developmental disabilities at Pittsburg State University. I later received my CNA license from the Kansas Collage of Nursing and began pre-nursing at JCCC. I have always had an extremely nurturing and empathetic side that I attribute to my brother Robbie, who has autism and who I believe shaped me into the person I am today. I love the work I do because I have seen how rewarding it can be and just how much of a difference a trustworthy care taker or sitter can make. I'm hoping to find a position where I can continue to offer a helping hand and making a positive impact on family's lives because after all, they do say it takes a village!!

Jordyn has been a staple for our family when it comes to child care for over 5 years now. She is the first person we call when we need a night out. We wholeheartedly know when we leave our 7,5, and 2 year old with Jordyn that they will have her undivided attention for the entirety of her time with them. She’s reliable, kind, patient, and brings a special kind of light with her. She’s willing to cook meals for our kids and clean up behind them. We actually always come home to a house cleaner than we left it. She is always on time and flexible if needed. Jordyn has provided us with childcare for over 5 years now and we’ve never had any issues. She has become family during her time with us and our children request her when we have a night away. You and your children will love having Jordyn in your home , and who knows, she may become a part of your family too.
