About Jordan

I can teach English, Math, and French, but Sciences are my specialty. I have a bachelors in Biology and am working on my masters in Biochemistry. I mentored elementary and middle schoolers for 4 years in college and learned how to connect with students where they are to guide growth on an individual basis. To me, learning is not about merely memorizing facts, but instead finding patterns that connect the material and understanding the why behind it. I feel teaching these patterns helps a student become more excited to learn because they can predict new information without needing to memorize. I worked 4 years for a global CPG company focused on personal development where I achieved multiple promotions, so I am also available to provide support resume-building, setting short and long term goals, and building confidence that will push them to further grow. I am compassionate and positive, but stern, and can work with kids at any age to be their best in, and out of, school.
