Working with children has always been something I enjoy. I graduated from Frostburg State University in 2018 with an early childhood/elementary education degree. I have worked for Loudoun County Public Schools since the fall of 2018 as a third grade teacher. I recently graduated with my masters degree in Special Education- Autism Spectrum Disorders from Arizona State University. I have babysat for countless families and enjoy spending time with my nieces, nephew, and goddaughter.

Thought this person was going to be reliable. As a parent of 3 young children and relying on a babysitter that knew the circumstances and agreed to the terms, I found myself left high and dry because she felt "unappreciated based on her pay and communication via text" although the pay she agreed to upfront when we hired her. The communication via text I had asked her if she could kindly elaborate so I could have a better understanding of her feelings in hopes that we could resolve whatever it is she was feelings. The texts were always genuine on my end and the conversations never seemed to be a point where I thought I needed to call her. Forgive me for thinking that I didn't need to call because I thought she was capable of babysitting my 2 year old child while I'm running my kids to practices. I would send quick texts to see how my 2 year old was doing, letting her know we made it to ok to practices. She also was not clear on the fact that she would not babysit on school holidays regardless if my kids had practice that day or not. I found myself having to pry out exactly what her problem was with me and I found myself apologizing to her for something I wasn't sure what I did wrong. I would caution anyone hiring this young lady as she clearly does not know the importance of reliability and she is very passive aggressive when all it could've taken was a genuine conversation and I could have corrected my mistake. As a mom of 3 and constantly on the go, I made an honest mistake. Instead of being mature enough to talk to me I could've apologized and more than willing to say "oh I'm so sorry! That was an honest mistake let me fix that!" Instead I had to figure out on my own what her issue was and apologized for my mistake. I have 3 kids of my own, I don't have time to deal with an immature adult on top of it.
