About Jordan

Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am passionate about supporting children and teens with disabilities. I am currently employed at a school serving students aged K-21 with profound autism, where I work with Verbal Behavior ABA programs. I am also pursuing a degree in Special Education, and I am CPR and CPI certified. I have 14 months of experience supporting children and teens with a wide range of needs, including high-magnitude aggression, self-injurious behaviors, elopement, disruptive behaviors, toileting challenges, seizures, and other medical conditions. I have worked with both verbal and nonverbal individuals using AAC devices, and I am skilled at implementing individualized behavior plans, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation techniques.
