I have 20+ years of experience in nursing with many of them in newborn and child nursing. I have been doing professional childcare/nannying for the past 10 yrs. On a recent business trip to Sandestin, we needed a sitter for one night. Being new to care.com, we were very apprehensive about leaving our child with a stranger. We wanted our son to help choose his sitter and he was immediately drawn to Jodi because she reminded him of his grandmother. We arranged a call and spent 30 minutes talking to her which put us all at ease. She was friendly and seemed very kind and caring. On the day of the event, Jodi agreed to arrive 30 minutes so we could get to know each other. At first our son was very nervous, but Jodi quickly made him feel comfortable. During the 3 hours that we were gone, Jodi and our son went to dinner, an arcade, swimming and watched a movie! He had a blast! We all highly recommend Jodi and will definitely get in touch with her if we're back in the area.
