I am interested to help seniors to be able to stay at home as long as possible. I have a younger sister with beginning dementia and she had a bad fall which broke her tibia bone. I was the only one who was able to move back close to her to care for her for a year to help her get up and able to walk and function better on her own. Now my niece is taking over the care for her Mom. I have recently taken a first aide training course and been awarded the certificate of completion. I am also still learning more and doing more courses for this line of work so that I can be a better HHA.
