I have had the opportunity to care for several older members of my family in an active and focused way, I would make their meals, help them move from space to space, clean up after them, and assist with errands and appointments. I have also been volunteering at the university hospital in the acute care for the elderly ward. Actively helping clean up and organize the tools the nurses use and then conversing and encouraging a normal life pattern in the patients to help prevent sluggishness or fogginess.
