About Jonell

I am a patient, dependable childcare provider with experience caring for children in home, educational, and clinical settings. I am a psychology major at Johns Hopkins University and a medical school applicant with a strong interest in child development and family-centered care. I previously worked as a Newborn Hearing Screener, caring for infants and supporting families in a calm environment. I also worked as an assistant at a speech and ABA therapy practice, supporting children with speech delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental differences by reinforcing therapy goals and structured routines. I volunteered as a teacher in elementary schools, babysat my younger cousins from infancy through toddlerhood, and provided caregiving for toddlers of postpartum mothers during clinical research focus groups.
