My career of working with children began back in Lithuania where I taught Russian language and literature to students. I taught for six years. Once I moved to the USA I began teaching Lithuanian preschool children part -time. At the same time I started my career as a nanny. I have been working more than 20 years in this field and had the opportunity to work with children of different ages from babies to preteens. This work gives me great satisfaction because I get to see how children grow and develop. I enjoy helping children with their homework, doing arts and crafts with them, playing outdoors, and doing other fun activities.
