About John

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. With a graduate degree and 10 years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, and test preparation for elementary and middle school students. I hold certifications as a Certified teacher, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and Student accommodation plans (504). I believe in building confidence by creating a patient, engaging environment tailored to your child's unique learning style. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a center, I use interactive strategies and positive reinforcement to turn complex challenges into manageable successes. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are working as a collaborative team. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping your student discover the joy of learning.
