I believe that pets are gifts from God and bring out the best in us humans. Hi there, my name is John. I was fortunate to grow up with dogs and cats and have been taking care of them (and vice versa ;-) for over 30 years. At home, I have a1-year-old Goldendoodle boy named Luka, and an adult female cat named Mia. I also recently took in a pregnant outdoor cat who just gave birth to four kittens, so I'm unable to offer boarding services at my home until the kittens are old enough for adoption. I am known for working with and caring for even the most "challenging" pets and subscribe to Cesar Milan's model of "training humans and rehabilitating dogs." Aside from their obvious physical needs, I believe the two most important things that pets need are love and patience and I look forward to helping to provide them both.

John is absolutely amazing with animals! He helped me care for Haley (my Golden Retriever and Lab Mix), and my kitties (Maine Coons) over the years. I couldn’t have asked for anyone more loving, conscientious, responsible, and dependable. He has a natural gift with animals—he truly is a dog whisperer, and animals seem to love and trust him immediately. He is attentive to each pet’s individual needs and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. He is also experienced with preparing custom meals and diets, administering medication, providing attentive care, and even helping with dog training. He is completely reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I would feel confident leaving any pet in his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will treat their animals like family. He is also great at transporting to vet and grooming appts, bringing on field trips to the park or beach, and always keeping me updated with photos and texts on how my pup is doing throughout the day. He has been my go to when I go on vacation and the occasional date night. Totally recommend!
