About John

I have 16 years of experience teaching grades two through five. I can help with Math and Science from elementary to middle school level. In addition to classroom teaching, I have been a school and district leader in technology and math. I have mentored other teachers and presented professional development courses. All of this proves my dedication and experience with math instruction. Most recently, I have been working with an educational technology company in designing and aligning high school math curriculum. In addition, because of the family culture that my students and I have built, I was awarded the WYFF Golden Apple Teacher of the Year award. Working with your child will not only be a relationship between them and myself, but the parent/guardian will be involved too. Education is a partnership between all three stakeholders. We will discuss the best approach for your child and the progress/timeline that you are expecting.
