I love children and I'm very caring for them. I'm currently a full time student whose goal is to become a social worker. Previously, I worked at a private preschool in the urban area of Saint Petersburg and during my time there I had the opportunity to interact with children and parents of various ethnicity and socioeconomic backgrounds. Therefore, giving me the chance to navigate and understand diversity and different family dynamics. My passion for children expanded so much that within a year working there I qualified for the position of the Volunteer Pre-Kindergarten Program Teacher and I received the Teacher of The Year award (TOY). As the time passed I wanted to learned more about teaching strategies and children's behavior that I began working as a special needs teacher associate (ESE) for Pinellas County Schools. I worked for the school district for three years giving me the experience to worked with children with special needs in all different areas. I supported the classroom teacher by providing students with small group and one-on-one academic instruction, as well as social skills instruction. I was able to perform extracurricular activities with the children, such as outdoor sport games, board strategy games, arts and crafts and much more. My experience and interaction with children has always been the best because I care for kids and for the future of tomorrow. C. Sheriff's Department), Drug Screening Test within the past 15 days.
