About Johanna

I'm the oldest of 5, and helping with my younger siblings is what started my love of being a caregiver. Since becoming a mom at 19, and have always been able to stay home with our kids. I was a full time caregiver & companion to my 4 grandparents. Two of them lived with us for 8 years & I fully cared for both. I was also the primary caregiver after surgeries & during hospice for them in our home. I was responsible for their transportation, appointments, administering meds, all snacks & meals, social appointments, banking/finances, shopping, & general care. I've worked pt as a Personal Care Assistant/Companion, & volunteered with elderly through the Senior Center. I love to cook, play games, listen to music (& sing along if my companion is up for it!), share stories, read, painting/coloring/all arts & crafts, write, shop, movies, musicals, etc. I also love animals.
