My name is Johanna but you can call me Joey! I've had pets my entire life including cats, dogs (big and small), guinea pigs, mice, rats, birds, turtles, tortoises, chickens, ferrets, and hermit crabs. I've specifically had German Shepherds my whole life and they are my favorite breed of dog. I'm not intimidated by big dogs at all and absolutely love them! I like working with animals because it's a really good feeling to connect with a living thing you can't directly communicate with. Taking the time to understand an animal and being able to connect beyond a language barrier is extremely rewarding. I'm looking for a job that is a one-off gig, or steady part-time with flexible scheduling. I started working with animals when I was born! I've always had animals in my household and have always helped take care of them.
