About Johana

I am a creative and energetic educator driven to offer diverse and engaging activities. Friendly, supportive and motivated, with a strong desire to promote student potential. Although I do not have experience tutoring I do have plenty of experience working in schools as a TA, substitute, and classroom teacher. I have my Bachelors in general and special education grades 1-6. I also have 97% of my Masters in grades k-12th. When working with students I value creating a respectful relationship. As an educator, I believe that it is crucial for students to make connections between their education and themselves. I intend to have high expectations for all students I work with and hold them accountable for their own learning, in the hopes that they will see the importance of learning about the world around them. I want to encourage students to write, speak, and express who they are while advancing within their education. Thank you for your time and consideration.
