About Jo

My name is Jo! I'm an actor, singer, musician and teacher, and I adore working with kids. I have a lot of experience with all age groups and have taught theatre, music, and general education all across America. I'm efficient, kind, compassionate, capable of keeping kiddos under control, and I'm great at having fun/keeping them entertained! I'd describe my personality as inviting, optimistic and bubbly. I like working with kids because there's no feeling like watching a kid learn something new and make a discovery for the first time. I started working with kids when I was in high school and started babysitting for the first time. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. In my spare time, I like to sing, read books, cook, do yoga, write songs, and drink tea! One thing you should know about me is I love to learn new things and get the most out of life. My skills include patience, the ability to not back down/give up on any child, and the ability to think on my feet!
