About Joey

I have always loved caring for children and I am very passionate about providing a safe space for kids to express themselves. When I was in high school I babysat for many families and volunteered for childcare almost every week at the church I went to. I also taught ukulele to a few kids every week. These things always brought me so much joy and I am so excited to meet and care for your kids! I love working with kids because it's so exciting to see how young people express themselves and find their way in the world. I love how curious kids can be and I love seeing the different ways they learn about themselves and others. I am most experienced with kids aged 2-5 and I especially love this age group because this is when their individual personalities really start to shine. I am very crafty and creative, on my days off I like to paint and customize my clothes to fit my style. I also love going on walks and swimming in the river in the summer.
