About Joey

Hi! my name is Joey and I am an artist and child care worker with 3 years of experience. I have worked with children as young as 9 months and as old as 12. No matter what work I've done in childcare, the common thread has always been art. Whether it's planning and leading my own art projects, making cartoon drawings for the children to enjoy and color, or using visual arts as a medium for teaching english-the goal is the same: to bring joy, inspiration and empowerment to children. Looking for some work on the side doing what I love to support my creative work. Always eager and enthusiastic to read stories or teach as well. Very patient and compassionate with all kinds of children. Perfectly comfortable and willing to prepare food or take care of other household tasks. Am able to provide a lively, imagination sparking, active (screen-free) and fun experience.
