About Joelle

Hello! My name is Joelle. I'm a 26 y/o artist and animal lover. I love children and, while it's my aspiration to become a doula, being a nanny is incredibly fulfilling for me. I cherish the special bond of being a caregiver. I've nannied children from 4 months through 12 years old. This included nap routines, bottles, meals, daily walks, playing inside and out, and trips to libraries and cafes. For 2 years I was a nanny to a little boy age 4mo-2ys. I learned so much during my time with him and his family and it's one of the brightest periods of my life. Watching him grow from turning onto his stomach on his own to learning to solve problems and saying his first words was incredibly rewarding. Helping him express himself and work through the frustrations of big feelings in a small body meant the world to me. I also babysat a 1-year-old boy for 9 months. We spent our days exploring his parents' workplace and nearby parks while he learned new words and interactions!
