About Jody

Hi Friends, I'm Jody! I usually work as a Location Scout in TV & Film, but in between gigs I like to take on meaningful jobs when I can. Born and raised in LA, I've worked as a Teacher Assistant with LAUSD for several years... many years ago, but I have acquired the bulk of my childcare experience by virtue of being an Aunt to many and Mom of two fairly recent college graduates. I'm here to help with a lot of the things that really tend to bog us down, (easy) meal prep, homework. While I'm no pushover, I am attentive, considerate and respectful by nature... even with the youngest of young ones. I speak conversational Spanish and can help your child with their Spanish homework - if they are taking a class in the language. I consider myself a "mature" babysitter, I'm big fan of manners, yet I'm incredibly easy going and I do actually "get it". Whew, lots to try and fit in this tiny box!
