Hello, I'm "Miss Jodie" to many of my families.. I'm a former k-12 teacher. I have extensive infant and child care experience. I often assist families with special needs children. In addition to typically developing children, I can also assist with sensory issues, non-compliance or behavioral issues, toileting issues and especially encouraging speech using verbal prompting. I have helped several families with all developmental stages of infants and toddlers and special needs children and I have excellent references. Miss Jodie is an amazing support for parents with ASD kids. She's a special needs parent herself, is trained to work with autistic kids, and does an amazing job. She's very dependable, flexible, and understanding. She goes above and beyond to support her fellow single moms. An activist in the ASD community, she's connected me with supports, resources, and solutions outside of care. She's a life-saver.
