About Jocilyn

I recently relocated to Georgia from Louisiana to pursue a Career in Performing Arts. Aside from my love of children I enjoy expressing myself through Acting, Singing, and Dancing. My experience in childcare ranges from infant to adolescence. Prior to relocating to Georgia I worked as a live in Nanny to an infant; my duties included: Bottle feeding/preparation, diaper/clothing changes, and educational development activities. In 2018, I worked as a student intern at Uncommon Schools in Brooklyn, New York; this position required me to curate lesson plans and effectively communicate them to first and second grade, and Pre-K boys & girls. Prior to my time at Uncommon Schools; I had the privilege of serving as a camp site leader for Next Step Ministries; this position allowed me experience in working with multiple age groups in one setting.
