About Jocelyn

Hi! I'm Jocelyn. I'm a Santa Cruz native. I've been taking care of kids since I was 13 and I practically raised my niece when she was a baby. I'm calm and compassionate and positive. I'm also intuitive and am able to get on the same level of kids and help them regulate emotion and reactions by breathing and vocalizing their needs. I've been told I have a soothing presence with infants and I truly love them. I'm a huge animal lover and love teaching kids how to love and interact with animal friends. I have chickens and ducks and a kitty at home and if I'm ever given the chance I'd love for the kids to meet my fur/feather babies and learn about farm fresh eggs! I used to be a professional painter and I'm open to teaching little ones about art. I'm very trustworthy and truly only want the best for everybody, I treat everyone I meet like family (which I think is a hallmark of coming from a tight knit community) and have great references.
