About Jocelyn

I have strong skills in English grammar and writing--I used to love writing essays. I also have a good understanding of English literature. My background is in STEM, and I can help tutor in natural and physical sciences including biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as math and basic statistics. I believe that critical thinking skills are paramount in education, and that one of the primary tasks of teachers and tutors is to encourage independent problem- solving. I also believe that all people have the capacity to learn and grow, regardless of age and challenges.
