About Joao

Hi! I'm Joao (Jo-Jo). I am a responsible, patient, energetic, and caring childcare provider with several years of experience. I started working with kids when I was 16 through teaching Portuguese and English to them. Later I began babysitting and I did an exchange program as an Aupair. I have cared for children from newborns to teenagers. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children can learn and feel comfortable. My experience includes helping with daily routines, meals, playtime, homework, and bedtime; light housekeeping; potty training; developing engaging activities; and being a positive role model. I design activities that encourage cognitive development, social skills, creativity, and communication. I understand every child is unique, and I adapt my approach to each kid's needs.
