About Joann

I have spent many years working in daycares, being a nanny for multiple families, substituting at elementary schools and raising my own children. With my youngest in middle school my kids are independent and I'm excited to work as a nanny again! I have worked with twins and newborns through teenagers. I'm naturally tidy, well organized, a good communicator and proactive. Once a routine is established I am a self starter and can anticpate the needs of the family. I respect that each family has their own parenting style and I use my role to support and reinforce their values. I am happy to provide any guidance I may have when asked by the family. My childcare philosophy centers on clear communucation, consistency and age appropriate boundaries.
