Hello, I would be honored to help take care of your loved one. I have eight years experience in health care as a companion, Patient Care Assistant on a medical/surgical unit, and a Medical Technician in an Emergency Room. I am certified in infant/child/adult BLS & CPR, have extensive experience with mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, etc. I'd describe my personality as caring, respectful, forthright, dependable. I like working with kids because in the absence of their parent or guardian, I like to keep them engaged and entertained do reduce separation anxiety. I started working with kids when I began working in the hospital. Kids of all different ages, abilities, and complications came in needing help. I have three kids of my own, each with unique challenges, and have raised them to succeed in college and high school. My skills include emergency care, BLS/CPR for infants/children/adults, comfort care, companionship, personal care.
