About Nora

I have been working in childcare for many years, including full time nannying for 4+ years, teaching at a preschool, working as an advocate at a domestic violence shelter, and teaching nutrition and physical educationg through SNAP Ed for grades TK through 8th. I've taken care of infants to teenagers and everything in between, but I have the most experience with babies and toddlers. I love watching kids grow, learn, and explore the world they live in. I enjoy taking kids on adventures outside, reading books together, cooking and baking, and doing arts and crafts. I love to read and I try to share that passion with the kids I care for by taking trips to the library or just reading together at home. I am first aid and CPR certified and I have experience teaching swim lessons. I now have the absolute pleasure of raising my own child (1-year-old) who tags along with me to my part-time nannying job 5 days a week. I currently have limited availability on afternoons and weekends.
