About Joanna

My love and passion for children and toddlers truly sparked when I became a volunteer for child care in the nursery at my local church when I was only 15 years old. I worked as a volunteer there for about 8 years. At my local church, families and single mothers who noticed my love and affection for children would request my child care service for their children at their own homes. Eventually other families would ask me to help with their day to day activities such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, child pickup and drop off. As soon as I turned 18 years old I worked as a team leader for a group of young children from ages 4-10 to help with homework, physical education and so on. In 2019, I became an instructional assistant for special education. I've worked in Special Education for 6 years now. Under the support and supervision of the church leadership, I volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for 4 years for ages 4-11.
