Hi! My name is Joanna and I am a recent college graduate! I received my bachelor's degree from Cal State University Long Beach, and am currently pursuing my teaching credential here as well! When I was about 14 years old, I began getting my CPR and first aid license so I could be more professional when babysitting. Since then I have done lots of babysitting around my area (from infants to older kids), along with being a camp counselor and a director for 3+ years (summer and winter camps). Last summer (2022) I was given the opportunity at the summer camp to work as a supervisor. Furthermore, I have done lots of volunteering in a 2nd grade classroom and have coached young children in cheerleading. I am now 22 years old and still am a recurring babysitter/house-sitter/ dog-sitter for few families when needed. I am punctual, independent, caring, and I love to be with children. I feel that being with children comes very natural for me.

I felt extremely comfortable leaving my son with Joanna. She is very reliable and fun. She is one of the few people that I have hired where I didn't worry at all while I was away from him because I knew he was well cared for by someone attentive to his needs. She is a great communicator and very patient. I'd definitely recommend her.
