About Joanna

I'd describe my personality as calm, compassionate, and friendly. I love caring for seniors because I believe they deserve dignity and respect and the highest quality of life possible. I love being a small part of bringing joy and comfort to a senior's day. I started caring for seniors when I took over full-time care for my father who had MS and was bedbound. I cared for him for four years, and then have spent the last 3 years in various care positions with seniors, including in home care, assisted living care, and memory care. My skills include being a Certified Dementia Practioner, experience with a broad range of personal care needs like hoyers & catheters, and my ability to engage and connect with seniors wherever they currently are cognitively.
