About Joanna

Hello, my name is Joanna and I am 22 years old! My first experience in childcare started in high school. I was given the opportunity to take a class called "Exploring Childhood' which helped me learn about understanding children and how to properly care for them. During high school I was also a preschool intern and was able to experience; teaching, lesson planning and problem solving! As a childcare provider, my main focus is to give your child a safe and creative space to learn and grow as a person! After highschool, I worked at a daycare for a year and worked around the age of toddlers and infants. I have also worked for 2 families and have worked with children ranging from 5 months to 6 years old. I am currently looking for a part-time position, preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays. My rates start at $20/hour for one child. I am CPR certified and have my own car. I love to do arts and crafts, reading aloud, having outside time and pretend play!
