About Joanie

I am home for the holidays after living overseas in Australia for a year teaching and traveling! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I lived in Arizona after graduating college and taught kindergarten for two years before moving to Australia. I spent my summers as a swim teacher. Being with kids is my passion! I love to stay active and eat healthy. I enjoy spending my time outdoors, in workout classes, and playing with my dog. I have experience taking care of children ages 2 months- 14 years old. I love to read, help with homework, take walks to the park, swim, and do activities with kids. I am responsible with all parents rules and I am a trusted, fun-loving friend/babysitter for the kids. I am also CPR, First Aid, and Swim-instructor certified, and also have my Fingerprint clearance card. I am currently looking for some part-time work around the holidays mainly during the day, tutoring, extracurriculars, camps, swimming, etc
