About Jim

My name is Jim, I live in Rockport, and for the past seven years I've been the manager of a local Inn / Bed & Breakfast, Rockport. I came to the hospitality business after 2 decades in corporate America, to pursue my interest in hospitality and cooking. At the Inn I've managed day-to-day operations, all the way from the initial booking through the guests' departure. It's my responsibility to make sure that all guest rooms are clean and ready to receive guests, including the management and hands-on execution of every aspect of housekeeping. The standards set by the owners are directly in line with my own personal standards of running a business and keeping my own home: our guest rooms are meticulously clean, and our towels and bed linens are maintained to a 5-star standard. I am more than proficient with minor home repairs and gardening. I love the garden and am adept at maintaining seasonal floral arrangements and/or window boxes for the home.
