About Jillian

My name is Jillian, and I am an occupational therapist with knowledge and expertise working with adults and caring for people with chronic illnesses, Alzheimer's/Dementia and addressing the aging process in a positive way. I work with adults on activities of daily living, maintaining functional mobility, staying active, and creating a meaningful and purposeful life for individuals. I use my therapy tools to teach language, social, self-help, academic, daily living, and life skills. I am currently working as an OT for Virtua in home care. I work with older adults on things including dressing, eating, bathing, medication management, cooking, cleaning, and anything else that they are having difficulty with in their everyday lives. I have my certification in Basic Life Skills (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association, which is an advanced CPR/AED course. I am also First Aid certified through American Red Cross.
