As a mother of three (3) successful, well-read, college graduates (MBA Supply Chain, Social Studies HS Teacher, BGSU) & current attendee (1 - U of Cincinnati, Accounting), I love cultivating creativity & independent thinking through strong literacy. The importance of structure & routine, even when then don't want it, but thrive when they do. I love to engage with the littles. Lighting up when they master a new skill, smiling just because they're happy & sometimes comforted by a murmured itsy bitsy spider. On a minuscule budget, I found free activities with enrichment. The library was our first & favorite. Metro-Parks -several visitation centers have indoor playbased discovery areas. Free, educational, fun! When my children were infants, I began sharing my love of books and stories. We enrolled in every 'reading time / program', they are avid readers!
