I am the perfect example of the Sandwich Generation. I have 2 kids in college and have been juggling taking care of my parents and in-laws who live in Florida. I worked with underserved older adults through a non profit called SilverSource. Their mission was to advance the dignity, independence and quality of life of older adults by providing supportive services. As a consultant, I was able to fundraise to launch the Ride to Wellness program. The funds raised enabled us to secure a van which provided seniors with free transportation to and from medical appointments. I am patient, flexible, detailed oriented and proactive.
