I have had my own pets since I was 9 years old and my love for feathered and furry friends of all shapes and sizes is never-ending. From eight to 12, I took horseback-riding lessons. Over the course of my life, I have had hamsters, a rabbit, and three dogs. My first dog I had for 18 years, my second for 10, and my third for six; all of which I loved very deeply. My sister has had cats all her life and I have helped her take care of them throughout the years. I have some experience with cockatiels. I've pet-sat for family members' dogs numerous times and was a regular dog walker for my nephew's dog for a year.
