About Jess

My name is Jessica and currently teach English/Language Arts to 12th graders. I earned my dual-degree and dual certification via a 5 year accelerated program. In a professional environment, I have taught between 6-12 grades. I am passionate about English because being able to express yourself is empowering and writing is art. I feel most do not enjoy reading because of poor past experiences, but with the right approach, kids will and do soar. My love of learning is not limited to a certain age or style. I am someone who loves what I do and often get I might like actually like English this year!
