About Jess

I am a dedicated K-1 autism teacher with a passion for creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments for young learners with diverse needs. I earned my undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University and later completed my master's degree in Social-Emotional Learning, strengthening my commitment to supporting the whole child both academically and emotionally. In addition, I earned my English Language Learner credential to better serve students and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I am currently continuing my professional growth by working toward my autism certificate, further deepening my knowledge and advocacy for students on the autism spectrum. My teaching philosophy centers on building meaningful relationships, fostering independence, and helping every student feel valued, capable, and successful.
