About Jessie

Hi! I'm an experienced and enthusiastic nanny available for babysitting. With 16 years of experience, I am fulfilled by supporting children in reaching their full potential as they blossom into each new phase of growth. I love to read with kids, run around outside, hike, play games, and lead creative and fun activities. I'm easygoing but I make sure house rules are enforced. I believe in positive reinforcement and modeling healthy boundaries. I incorporate elements of my yoga practice when teaching self-care, food mindfulness and emotional regulation. My education gives me an appreciation for the way children absorb information and cues to form their self-identity and how this influences their success as adults. This pushes me to be a role model and coach on the journey through childhood. Helping with homework is an opportunity to empower a child to have confidence in their intelligence. I have experience tutoring in most subjects and I can read and write music.
