About Jessie

Hi there! I'm Jessie, and I've always had a genuine interest in children and their development. While I don't have formal daycare experience, I have spent years babysitting for family, caring for children of various ages. I hold an Associate's degree in Psychology and am pursuing my Bachelor's, with coursework in childhood and adolescent development that has given me a strong understanding of how children grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively. My long-term career goal is to work with children as a therapist. I enjoy engaging children in age-appropriate activities such as outdoor games, board games, puzzles, educational apps, and offering basic homework help when needed. I also run a small baking business and would enjoy including simple baking activities if parents are comfortable. I communicate using parents' preferred method, follow household routines, and aim to create a safe, nurturing environment. While I don't have my own car, I am reliable and upfront about scheduling.
