Hi, families! I'm Jessie. Empowering students to reach their full potential is the driving force behind my eight years of teaching experience. I hold a graduate degree and am a Certified Special Education Teacher with extensive expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning through critical thinking and problem-solving. By actively listening to your unique needs, I adapt my methods--whether through visual aids or hands-on activities--to ensure concepts truly click. I specialize in Math, English, Special Education, and study skills for elementary through high school students. I prioritize open communication with families to create a supportive, collaborative environment. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill.
