About Jessica

My experience in caring for children began 10 years ago while in high school. I was a part-time caregiver for a 12-week-old adorable baby boy, which continued until the child was 2 years old. I then cared full-time for a family with 4 children, ages ranging 2-14. While attending The College of Saint Rose, I studied Social Work and Family Studies. This allowed me to grasp a deeper understanding of child behavior. I also did one of my internships in child counseling at Cohoes Middle School for girls and boys in the 6th grade. These students dealt with physical and emotional challenges, and sought comfort in an adult they could confide in. Throughout my years at college, I also baby sat for multiple families with babies, toddlers and children whenever they needed a hand! *Resume available upon request.
